One of our veterans, who has recently qualified for a City & Guilds award in bookbinding, was presented with his certificate yesterday by Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal.

Her Royal Highness is President of the City & Guilds Institute, and was visiting the nearby Tedworth House Recovery Centre to present awards gained by veterans there since it was registered as a City & Guilds training centre last April. Because Bound by Veterans (The Wiltshire Barn Project) supports Tedworth House veterans with bookbinding therapy and course training, we were included in the visit and award ceremony. Kenny Teasdale is one of four Project members who have recently gained bookbinding awards, and was delighted to meet the Princess Royal, discuss his work and receive his award in front of Help for Heroes and City & Guilds staff. Kenny is already working enthusiastically towards gaining a second bookbinding award.”
